France – Building a Premium Vertiport Corridor on the French Riviera
The French Riviera (Côte d’Azur) offers one of Europe’s most compelling use cases for Advanced Air Mobility. With high tourism volume, dense coastal and resort destinations, and strong demand for fast, reliable regional travel, AAMG aims to integrate the region into a cutting-edge vertiport network — combining airports, coastal towns and urban centres under a unified, modular infrastructure standard.
Riviera Core — Nice, Monaco, Cannes, Saint-Tropez and the Côte d’Azur Coastline
Key coastal hubs — Nice, Monaco, Cannes, the Golfe de Saint-Tropez and other resorts — will form the backbone of the Riviera vertiport corridor. These locations are ideally suited for high-frequency, short-range flights that bypass congested ground transport and offer fast, comfortable mobility for residents, tourists and business travellers alike.
Seamless Integration with Major Airports
The network aims to connect major international and regional gateways — including the region’s main airport — with coastal and urban vertiports. This creates efficient airport-to-destination links: ideal for travellers arriving from abroad, as well as for inter-Riviera traffic, boosting overall connectivity and convenience.
Modular, Sustainable Infrastructure
As with all AAMG projects, each vertiport will rely on our modular, scalable design, compatible with urban rooftops, small airfields or coastal sites – and equipped with independent off-grid energy systems. That ensures sustainable, resilient operations from the first day, irrespective of local grid constraints.
Cross-Border and Regional Connectivity
Beyond the Riviera’s internal routes, the corridor creates a hub for broader regional connectivity across Southern France — linking to inland cities, neighbouring coastal zones and even cross-border travel. This supports not only tourism and leisure, but also business, logistics and medical mobility across a wider Mediterranean corridor.
AAMG in the South of France Preparing for Europe’s First Premium AAM Corridor
With the Riviera’s unique geography, high demand and tourism-driven mobility patterns, the region represents a natural early adopter for vertiport infrastructure. AAMG’s approach – combining modular vertiports, energy-autonomous infrastructure and flexible deployment – is designed to meet these needs head-on.
The French Riviera project stands as a blueprint for how AAM can transform regional mobility in Europe: connecting airports, urban centres and coastal destinations with fast, clean and convenient air travel – redefining the travel experience along the Mediterranean coast.
